Smart Use of Original Seat Rails

This rail is designed for easy attachment to the original seat rails of Volkswagen vehicles, allowing safe and flexible bike transport directly in the boot space.

Easy installation – Thanks to our custom-developed nut system, the rail is easily secured to the vehicle’s original seat rails without drilling or modifying the vehicle’s structure.
Sturdy and flexible design – The aluminium profile, available in various lengths, features two slots for flexible positioning of fork mounts.
Holds up to 5 bikes (depending on bike type) – Bikes can be secured using the Mini fork mount (an economical solution). For greater convenience or transporting more bikes, we recommend the Plus fork mount, which offer tool-free rotation, sliding, as well as height and angle adjustment.

Universal solution – Compatible with our fork mounts and other accessories, such as front wheel holders, tie-down eyes, and more.
Quick installation and adjustment – Our custom anchoring system makes installation and removal of the rail very fast.
Minimal footprint – Thanks to its low profile, the rail takes up minimal space in the boot and is ideal for year-round use.
Optional tool-free mounting and removal – If you plan to install and remove the rail frequently, an optional tool-free fastening system is available.

Note:

This rail is the base component only. To transport bikes, you must also order Fork Mount Bike Holders (1 per bike) and matching adapters for correct type of your fork/axle. These items are sold separately.

Each adapter is designed to precisely fit the specific thru-axle size of your bike’s fork. If you use different types of bikes (e.g., road and enduro bike) you may need two different pairs of adapters to securely mount different bike types with the fork mount.

How to determine the correct size?
1️⃣ Measure the axle diameter – common diameters are 12 mm (road and gravel bikes), 15 mm (most XC, downcountry, trail, enduro, and e-bikes), 20 mm (downhill bikes).
2️⃣ Measure the inner fork width – common values are 100 mm or 110 mm (may vary for fatbikes).
3️⃣ Select the appropriate adapter based on the axle diameter and fork width you measured for your bike(s).

Thanks to perfectly fitting adapters, your bike will always be properly secured and stable during transport. The adapters can be replaced tool-free on the fork mount (simply pull them out).

Kids’ bikes can be secured inside the vehicle using our Front Wheel Holder Plus. This solution allows transport of kids’ bikes (14–24″) without removing the front wheel.

How to use the Front Wheel Holder

The front wheel is placed in the holder and secured using the foldable arm and a strong rubber strap at two points. The arm can be adjusted thanks to the quick-release system.
